Joyce and Jerry went to the Mayan Palace in Nuevo Vallarta for a week in January. We spent the first four or five days at the Mayan Palace and the first set of pictures are views of the Mayan Palace grounds from our unit on the sixth floor.
The Mayan Palace is a very large resort in Nuevo Vallarta 5-10 miles north of Puerto Vallarta. The resort consists of several buildings of condo units, several restaurants, a large pond, a lagoon where boats and kayaks are active, one of the longest swimming pools in North America and a mini train that traverses around the grounds.
This is a slide show of the Grand Mayan which is next door to the Mayan Palace and part of the Mayan Resort. Our victory was that we refused to take a tour and get into a sales pitch and our defeat was that we didn't get to take a tour of the Grand Mayan.
This slide show is a menagerie of pictures where we visited the mall at the Paradise Village, took several walks, dinner at the Puerto Vallarta marina, dinner at Pipi's, and a visit to the Conches Chinas area before the wedding.
THE WEDDING PICTURES START HERE!!
I have received pictures from Gary and Helen. This slide show is the Rehearsal Dinner held on Thursday night at the Playa Fiesta. We start with a couple of pictures of the Playa Fiesta. The night begins around the bar and all guests sit down to a fabulous dinner (after retrieving it from the buffet line). Lisa welcomes Anne into the family and Gary hesitates to say that he is still working on his speech.
While the guys were playing golf,
the gals were in town shopping
Friday evening was spent at the Restaurante Pipi for twelve of us and we spent some time at Carlos O'Brien's following a delicious dinner.
