We have chronicled the events of Ciera while her parents were touring Vietnam and Cambodia. Ciera was left in the care of her grandparents for the total of nineteen days. One of the primary purposes of these photos was to allow mom and dad to see Ciera each day while they were away. Mom and dad arrived on the twentieth day (a bonus day for grandma).
Days One thru Seven
Colby and Courtney left for Vietnam and Cambodia on Christmas day. On the second day Ciera had lunch at the Nordstrom cafe at the Valley Fair. On the third and sixth day, Ciera helped around the house and on the fourth day Ciera helped to clean out grandma's purse. Ciera spent the fifth day at day care and was babysat by Bryan, Shannon and Barry. On the seventh day, Ciera had dinner with Bill, Cherry, MacKenzie and Kyle. All seven days she was a very busy girl around the house.
Days Eight thru Ten
On day eight, Ciera helped grandma to take down the Christmas tree all day. Because of her help, it took ALL DAY! Ciera was still helping grandma on day nine in the living room. The house was saved when we visited the mall for lunch and some shopping. Ciera was visited by Uncle Bryan on day ten and we took a lot of pictures in her pretty dress.

Ciera spent her second day on day twelve in day care this week. At home Ciera frollicks in the living room, picks her nose, reacts to grandma when she says no and makes use of an empty box. Ciera spent a third day at day care on day thirteen. She then helped grandma to get her diaper changed and then helped with the wash and then did her basic damage to the household. Bryan and Shannon babysat for a couple of hours while the grandparents went out to dinner (isn't that usually reversed?). Ciera slept on day fourteen until 10:00am after a couple of interruptions around 4:00am and 6:00am. We went to the San Jose Auto Show and Ciera got a chance to sit in a few of the cars. She's back in the family room and in the kitchen helping load the dishes.
Days Fifteen thru Seventeen
Ciera starts the fifteenth day with a waffle. And then some play time with grandpa in the family room. Ciera enjoyed a muffin after returning from Starbucks and the store. And then some rearranging in the kitchen. Ciera must be anxiously waiting for mommy and daddy to come home because she has been extremely difficult to get to bed the last couple of days. Grandma picked up Ciera from Day Care on day sixteen. Ciera received a hat from Aunt Libbey. And then she rides one of the boxes in the family room while trying to call out. On day seventeen, Ciera is first picking out her dinner and then she cavorts on a full stomach. While grandma tries to get some work done, Ciera likes to sit on the headboard and read. We visited Uncle Bryan on his last day at the bowling alley and had some pizza and ice cream.
Days Eighteen and Nineteen
The pictures are a little thin this time but HEY! it's only one or two more days and then Ciera is going to be reunited with her parents. Mom and dad are going to see Ciera in person before they see these few pictures. But doesn't it look like grandpa and grandma had a good time?
